Emotional Therapeutic Counselling (ETC)
Emotional Therapeutic Counselling (ETC) is a type of talking therapy that focuses on helping you understand and work through your emotions in a safe and supportive space. The goal is to help you explore what you’re feeling, where those emotions come from, and how they may be affecting your life, relationships, or sense of self.
In our sessions, we won’t just look at your thoughts and behaviours, we’ll gently explore your feelings and emotional experiences, including those from your past, that might still be influencing you today. This process can help you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges.
Together, we explore where certain beliefs or emotional wounds may have started, and gently begin to heal them by listening to what your inner child needs now. It’s not about blaming your past, but about giving yourself the support and love you might not have received at key moments. It can be very healing and empowering.
ETC is a holistic therapy that acknowledges the interconnectiveness of mind, body and spirit and how emotional well being is essential for overall health.

What to expect
Sessions will be in person at my clinic, or online
Session length will be 50 minutes. I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation so you can see if counselling is right for you. The cost is £55 per session.
I am available Monday to Thursday
The number of sessions will vary for each person. We can discuss this during your first session.
